Whirlwind Weekend

I ended up not going to the OI Conference this weekend. Scheduling, pricing and lack of motivation all played into my decision.  All the pictures, status updates and tweets from the conference made me second guess my decision to forgoe attending.  Actually all the posts… made me regret my decision. But, what’s done is done. Maybe you’ll see me in 2014.

I can’t wait to hear all of your stories and to get read all the information that was distributed during the event.

Well, while you all were enjoying the conference I was away on a whirlwind trip to Pittsburg, PA.  My younger brother Aaron left for Germany for four weeks yesterday and flew out of PITT.

Along the way, we stopped at Berkley Castle in Berkley Springs, WV. I’ve always wanted to see the castle so when I realized we’d be driving right by it, I ceased the opportunity to pay it a visit.

How did you spend your weekend? If you participated in the convention, what was your favorite part?
