Amanda is the founder of Unbreakable Journey. She lives in Richmond, VA with her husband and dog Clark. Amanda was diagnosed with Type 1 Osteogenesis Imperfecta at the age of two. She has suffered numerous fractures during her lifetime. She has never let OI hold her back from living a fulfilling life. The Unbreakable Journey is a website devoted to those who live everyday with Osteogenisis Imperfecta (OI) and to those who wish to learn more about this disorder. Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is a genetic disorder characterized by fragile bones that break easily. (OIF, 2010) It is our hope that this blog will become a resource for individuals with (OI), a place of inspiration, acknowledgment and hope.
