Prior to reading this post, I had never heard of broken beauties! I think it is a great idea, especially since my 11 year old just fractured a growth plate in her ankle. She is stuck in a “boot” for the next six weeks, and hates the idea of going back to school with “that ugly thing on her foot.” I’m going to jazz it up for her so she wont be so embarrassed about the boot and will have bragging rights and something cool to show off on the first day of school!

Never heard of this website until visiting the OI page on Facebook! I am an adult (43) with type 1 OI and also have 2 children 22 & 23 with OI. We all work and never let anything get in our way! OI has been a test in all aspects of our lives and will not win! Thanks for this website!
