Blue Jeans for Bones

Blue Jeans for Bones is the latest fund-raising activity to be sponsored by the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation (OI). It sounds like amazing fun! And, easy to do! OI affects 25,000 to 50,000 individuals in the United States. Blue Jeans for Better Bones is designed to raise awareness of OI and to help raise funds for the OI Foundation.

Unbreakable Journey is sponsoring a virtual Blue Jeans for Better Bones event every Friday this fall starting September 10, 2010. It’s a Friday and many of us have the luxury of casual fridays and can already wear jeans to work. Participants donate a gift amount which allows them to wear blue jeans on Fridays.

Here’s the catch with being virtual, we can’t just meet up for you to your certificate… so here’s the deal. Donate via my online website and then email me with pictures from your day raising awareness. Encourage your friends and family to participate.
