Wishbone Day: May 6, 2011

The Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) Community has a holiday coming our way, Wishbone Day. The group behind the day has a good attitude, a love for vibrant colors, and the passion to spread the word about OI around the world. Their logo was designed by Jo Ragen of Sydney Australia. (A member of the OI Community) The great thing about Wishbone Day is, we can each hold our own celebrations! So, let’s jump on board and spread the word!
Wishbone Day: In their own words.
Wishbone Day is about raising awareness of Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), otherwise known as ‘brittle bones’. Wishbone Day will take on many forms, in many places with people of all ages. People and organizations will express Wishbone Day in their own way. Each expression will be their own unique contribution to this worldwide community awareness effort.
Wishbone Day is not a fundraising event. Wishbone Day will raise awareness of OI by acknowledging all the great things that people with OI are achieving!
Join us in making Wishbone Day bigger every year. Consider this your personal invitation to take Wishbone Day on as your own. Put the date (6th May) in your diary. Get a group of people together and make Wishbone Day bigger and better each year!
Wishbone Day, May 6th! Own it!
